We reserve the right to refuse to collect certain items or materials, including but not limited to hazardous substances, medical waste, asbestos, gas cylinders, chemicals, liquids, and any other waste classed as hazardous or requiring specialist handling under applicable UK legislation. If we discover such items at the time of collection, we may decline to remove them and may charge for our attendance and any time spent on site.

3. Booking Process

You may request a booking by phone, email, online form, or any other method we make available. When making a booking, you must provide accurate information about:

The location of the premises, including any access restrictions such as limited parking, stairs, narrow corridors, or restricted entry times.

Your preferred collection date and time, and any special requirements.

Based on the information you provide, we may give an estimated quotation. All quotations are subject to verification when our team arrives at the premises and inspects the waste. If we find that the waste is significantly different in type, volume, or weight from what was described, we may adjust the price accordingly or decline to proceed with the service.

Your booking is not confirmed until we have acknowledged it and, where required, received any deposit or pre-payment we request. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

4. Quotations and Pricing

Unless stated otherwise, any quotation provided is an estimate based on the details you supply. The final price will depend on our on-site assessment of the waste and the time, labour, and disposal charges involved.

Our pricing may be calculated by reference to volume, weight, type of waste, estimated time on site, access difficulties, and disposal or recycling costs. Additional charges may apply for:

Excess waste beyond the amount originally quoted.

Additional labour where loading is prolonged due to poor access, sorting requirements, or other issues not previously disclosed.

Parking fees, congestion charges, permits, or penalties incurred due to circumstances at or around the premises.

If, following the on-site assessment, you do not agree to any revised price, you may decline the service. However, we reserve the right to charge a call-out or attendance fee to cover our costs of travel and time.

5. Payments

Payment is due in full on completion of the service unless we have agreed alternative payment terms in writing before the booking. We may accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, bank transfer, or other methods as notified to you from time to time.

We may require a deposit or full pre-payment at the time of booking, particularly for larger jobs or commercial customers. If you fail to pay any amount due on the agreed date, we may charge interest on overdue sums at the statutory rate and may withhold further services until payment is received.

All prices are stated in pounds sterling and may be subject to VAT where applicable under UK law. If VAT applies, it will be clearly indicated on your invoice.

6. Cancellations and Amendments

You may cancel or amend your booking by contacting us as soon as possible before the scheduled collection time. The following terms apply:

If you cancel more than 24 hours before the agreed arrival time, any deposit paid may be refunded or applied to a future booking at our discretion.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the agreed arrival time, we may retain all or part of any deposit and may charge a cancellation fee to cover our costs.

If our team arrives at the premises at the agreed time and is unable to gain access or you are not present to grant access, we may treat this as a late cancellation and charge an attendance or wasted journey fee.

We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate requests to change the date, time, or scope of the service. However, all changes are subject to availability and may result in a revised quotation.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, staff illness, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will seek to rearrange the service with you at the earliest available opportunity. We will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from such cancellations or delays, except to refund any pre-paid amounts for services we do not provide.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that:

Access to the premises is safe, legal, and suitable for our vehicles and staff.

Any necessary permissions, permits, or authorisations for us to enter the premises and remove the waste have been obtained.

The waste to be collected is clearly identified and is not mixed with items you wish to keep.

You or an authorised representative are present at the premises at the agreed time to confirm the waste to be removed and to approve any changes to the quotation.

You must not request us to remove items that you do not have the authority to dispose of, including items belonging to third parties or subject to a dispute. You warrant that you are the owner of the waste or are authorised by the owner to arrange for its removal.

8. Loading and Collection

Our team will load the agreed waste onto our vehicle from the area or areas we have agreed with you. Unless expressly agreed in advance, our service does not include dismantling of fixtures or fittings, removal of doors or windows, or any building work.

We may, at our discretion, assist with moving items from within the premises, including from upper floors or outbuildings. You acknowledge that such assistance may increase the time required and therefore the cost of the service. You agree to ensure that passageways, stairs, and access routes are free from obstacles and hazards.

We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to your property while carrying out the service. However, you accept that minor scuffs, marks, or wear may occur when removing bulky or heavy items through tight spaces. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as structural weaknesses, defective fixtures, or hidden hazards.

9. Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance

We operate in accordance with applicable UK waste management and environmental legislation. We will transport and dispose of collected waste only at licensed facilities or through authorised channels. We may separate recyclable materials where practicable to minimise landfill use.

You agree not to conceal hazardous or restricted items within general waste. If we suspect that the waste contains prohibited materials or substances requiring specialist treatment, we may suspend the service, refuse to remove the items, or arrange additional compliance measures at extra cost to you.

We may issue a waste transfer document or similar record where required by law or by our internal procedures. You should retain any documentation provided to you for your records and regulatory compliance.

10. Title and Risk

Once the waste has been loaded onto our vehicle, title to and risk in the waste transfers to us, subject to these Terms and Conditions and applicable law. Before loading, you remain responsible for the waste and for ensuring that you do not include items you wish to retain.

We reserve the right to decline to accept any item at the point of collection if we consider that removing or transporting it would be unsafe, unlawful, or unsuitable for our service.

11. Liability and Limitations

We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our services. However, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the service, whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to the total price paid or payable for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, whether foreseeable or not.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that any items you ask us to remove are genuinely waste and not of significant financial or sentimental value. We are not liable for loss of any item incorrectly presented to us as waste.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all claims, costs, damages, and expenses arising from:

Any claim by a third party alleging that items removed by us did not belong to you or that you had no authority to dispose of them.

13. Complaints

We will investigate any complaint in good faith and seek to resolve the matter with you. Raising a complaint does not remove your obligation to pay for services already provided.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
